The Disappointing truth about the 2023 WRC liveries the un inspiring copy and paste job from Hyundai and Toyota are really disappointing. Its not just the noise of the cars that get the fans excited, its the livery's, the colours and the sponsors that's what makes these road cars with huge spoilers and fins look super cool with there bright colours and dynamic shapes. But this year it's just not the same.
With virtually no difference between the 2022 and 2023 Toyota WRC livery its the most un creative livery I have ever seen. The same colours, shapes and basically the same sponsors, there is no creativity in this years livery. It's almost like they have just copied and pasted the old livery and changed a few sponsors, it's just has no enthusiasm no difference its just dated. We are in 2023 and using Hybrid Rally cars yet there is no persuasion in the new modern livery.
Same principle goes for Hyundai it would seem, with slight changes to the livery but again it's still the same concept, a copy and paste job once again to one of the biggest teams in the sport. Its such a shame as at this point it seems like they just don't care about what their car looks like as long is it meets the sponsors criterias.
M-Sport save this season of liveries with one of the coolest designs of a late WRC car, a really cool retro take on some of the coolest M-Sport WRC car designs. The Neon colours on the car make this one of my favourite liveries of all time.
